Ingredients

  • 2 Ounces Martel VSOP Cognac

  • Splash of smith and cross Jamaica Rum

  • .75 Ounces Simple Syrup

  • 4-5 Mint leaves

  • Advertisement

    2 Tender mint sprigs for garnish

Directions

  • In the bottom of a julep cup or serving glass, add the mint leaves and simple syrup and gently bruise the mint leaves.
  • Add the cognac and filled with crushed ice. swirl the drink with a barspoon until the outside of the cup frosts.
  • Top up the ice and splash the rum on top.
  • Garnish generously with mint sprig.
