Ingredients

  • 4 Ounces Four Roses bourbon

  • 6 Ounces Spiced rum

  • 6 Large eggs separated

  • .75 Cup Sugar

  • 1 Quart Milk

  • 1 Pint Heavy cream

    Freshly grated nutmeg for garnish

Directions

  • In a large bowl, beat the egg yolks well until they turn light in color, adding the half cup of sugar as you beat.
  • Add the milk, cream, and liquors and refrigerate until ready to serve.
  • Just before serving, beat the egg whites with the remaining .25 oz cup of sugar until they hold stiff peaks.
  • Fold the whites into the eggnog mixture.
  • Serve cold with freshly grated nutmeg sprinkled over the drink.
