Yuzu Gimlet

white cocktail with shiso leaf and lime wheel garnish

Yuzu is a citrus fruit that is commonly used in Japanese cuisine. It is believed to be a hybrid of sour mandarin and a unique type of papeda, and it has a distinctive tart flavor that is often described as a combination of lemon, lime, and grapefruit. You can only imagine the unique flavor it provides the Yuzu Gimlet cocktail.

Yuzu is typically used in dishes such as ponzu sauce, marinades, and dressings, and it is also used as a flavoring for saké and other alcoholic beverages. In recent years, yuzu has gained popularity in Western cuisine, particularly in gourmet restaurants and bars, where it is used in cocktails and desserts.
